MMT MUSEUM

Enhancement of existing museum

The Mineralogical Museum of Traversella is the result of the requalification and restoration of an historical complex characteristic of Valchiusella, in the province of Turin. The complex appears externally as a set of structures that are articulated into a linear building, characterized by different heights and numbers of floors.

The project goal was to enhance and improve the museum structure in order to increase and implement the number of visitors in the area. Exhibition rooms and a classroom have been created, trying to contain to a minimum the construction and plant works, in order to enhance what is already present within the structure.
